Which Problems Do You Have With Your Cat?

Did you know that behavioral problems are the number one cause of discontent and frustration among cat owners? Yes, you've heard right, it's not the health problems or cat care and maintenance ….

Cat behavior problems account for many cats being evicted from their homes, left to wander the streets or ending up in shelters. Such cats are difficult to re-home and some owners, especially with older cats, will prefer to have them euthanized rather then dumping them on streets or having them spend the rest of their lives in a cage.

This makes me SO SAD! Especially because 90 % of cat behavior problems can be successfully solved. Cats are intelligent animals and they always have a reason for their "bad" behavior. They don't do things just to upset us, and often their reasons are very different from what we think them to be.

Sometimes it is enough to try to understand them, look at things through their eyes …. If we can pinpoint the reasons behind their misbehavior, the solution is often quite obvious. Sometimes, it is only a minor change on our part which will sort the problem.
